This week Susan decided to get her questions from the WWW. She typed "getting to know you questions" into google & picked her five favorites.
1. Is it easier to forgive or forget?
Totally easier to forgive. God calls us to forgive. He 1st forgave us after all. The forgetting part is a different story because we also need to protect ourselves from danger. A 1x mistake is one thing but a behavior pattern is another & while I might be able to forgive you for stealing $10 from my wallet - I am not going to leave my wallet unattended in your presence. Forgiveness is is not Trust
2. If, like the characters in the Wizard of Oz, you could choose a Heart, Courage, or a Brain--which would you take?
A heart every time - there is no greater thing than to love someone else and feel their love in return
3. Have you ever wanted to change your first name? If so, to what?
YES - 1000x Yes!!!! Now if I tell you what to, when I go undercover you might be able to find me.
Actually I had often thought it would be cool if my old nick name was my actual name - No not ImKukie but Lanie, then there would be no temptation to call me Mel. Blech! I just don't care for the sound of that nick name but for one reason or another Lanie was not a name that stuck with folks like Mel seems to - I've turned a deaf ear to the way it sounds - one of those things in life you just accept I guess.
4. Which insect would you choose to eliminate from the world?
COCKROACHES & THE LIKE - ewwwwwwww
5. If you discovered you were going to die tomorrow, what would you do for the rest of today?
Make sure my apartment is clean & write a letter to each of the many people that have had an impact in my life & ensure Bailey had a good loving home to go to.
