MI5 - The Poem
For this week's MI-5, let's do something different. Let's write a poem. About the person you should know the best. YOU !! I encourage you to take a moment or two to think about your responses. Reintroduce yourself, to yourself. Rediscover what makes you tick.
*I am: a supporting character in one person play
*I wonder: who really gets it
*I hear: peoples fears
*I see: actors missing their queues
*I want: dedicated participation
*I am: a supporting character in one person play
*I pretend: I am stronger than I am
*I feel: uncertain of how my role should be played
*I touch: the lives of others sometimes its subtle sometimes dramatic
*I worry: my true intent is misunderstood
*I cry: because I have been known to miss my scenes and forget my lines
*I am: a supporting character in one person play
*I understand: I am not in total control
*I say: God wrote my script but its up to me how I preform it
*I dream: of a bigger cast bonded by happiness and love
*I try: to reach out to others through my words and actions
*I hope: I inspire courage in others to seek knowledge and truth so they may discover love
*I am: a supporting character in one person play
So that is my poem. If you dig the idea yourself, use the format below...
I don't want to impose too many restrictions on this creative outlet but leaving out the text written inside the parentheses will make your poem look and read better.
*I am:* (two special characteristics you have)
*I wonder:* (if what I think about me matches what others think)
*I hear:* (a sound you imagine)
*I see:* (a sight you imagine)
*I want:* (something you actually want)
*I am:* (the first line of the poem repeated)
*I pretend:* (something you pretend to do)
*I feel:* (a feeling about something imaginary or real)
*I touch:* (something you imagine touching)
*I worry:* (something that really bothers you)
*I cry:* (something that makes you very sad)
*I am:* (the first line of the poem created)
*I understand:* (something you know is true)
*I say:* (something you believe in)
*I dream:* (something you actually dream about)
*I try: *(something you make an effort to do)
*I hope:* (something you hope for)
*I am:* (the first line of the poem repeated)
